bubbling love

sick thoughts bubble and boil,
a cauldron of turmoil.
dark and poisonous ooze:
THC, blood and booze.

in the thick of despair
the gut feeling is there,
yet the thoughts in her mind
keep on leaving her blind.

but an uncanny lover,
so able to love her,
stirs the cauldron so that
two hearts merge in the vat.

through the fear and the pain,
a deep fondness they gain.
in sickness and health,
